  • He Eye Hospital was approved to be Liaoning Base of “Sight First, China Action”Project.
  • In 1998, Shenyang He Eye Hospital was awarded “Community Center for Blindness Prevention” by Fukuoka Mazuru Lions Club, Japan.
  • June 28, 2002, Dalian He Eye Hospital was awarded “Community Center for Blindness Prevention” by East Kowloon Lions Club, Hong Kong.
  • February 26, 2006, Shenyang Lions Club set up and Dr.He Wei was appointed to be the Charter Chairman.

  1. Blindness Prevention and Treatment —supported by Liaoning Youth Association
    • In October 2001, with support of Liaoning Youth Association, He Eye Hospital launched “Bright Action” in more than 20 regions of Liaoning Province to conduct screenings for 1200 poor people and cataract surgeries for 500 poor patients.
  2. Support from China Disabled Persons’ Federation (CDPF)
    • Participated in “Sight First, China Action” Project.
    • Participated in “Cataract-free Province” Project.
  3. Shenyang Charitable Association
    • June 29,2005, “Charitable Light” project was launched jointly by Shenyang Charitable Association, Shenyang Communication Bank and He Eye Hospital. And first batch of 60 free cataract surgeries was conducted.
    • And in November 2005,the second batch of 30 free cataract surgeries was conducted with support from Shenyang Charitable Association and Wal-Mart.
