
President of Japan Fukui Optometric and Optical Association Visited HE College

On June 24, Japan Fukui Optometric and Optical Association president, Mr. Ichiro Kuroda, come to He College of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. President of He Eye Care System He Xiangdong, Vice-president Fu Lifang, the executive vice-president Zhao Guohua gave them a warm welcome.

President He Xiangdong, gave a welcome speech in HE College Academic Hall. He said that economic globalization had a huge impact on Japanese optical industry, but the Glasses Division of Japanese Ed Co., Ltd, founded by Mr. Ichiro Kuroda, stood out in this situation and even became the leader in optical industry. Their development experience is worth learning and thinking by He Optical management and students who is going to enter the optical industry.

Mr. Ichiro Kuroda delivered a lecture for HE College teachers and students representatives, bring the theme of "change, create, and trust" in the talks, representatives, the leadership of He Eye Hospital and He Optcal, with the theme of "reform, creation, and trust". During the lecture, Mr. Ichiro Kuroda introduced the history of Japanese optical industry, the current crisis and how Ed Glasses Division, by reform and creation, won more consumers’ trust, broke the bottleneck and promoted the innovation and development of the optical industry. When answering the questions from HE College students, he expressed the hope to expand their business to China, and welcomed HE College students to join together to promote the sustainable development of optical industry in China and Japan.

He gave high praise and affirmation to the great contribution that He Eye Care System has made to the Chinese blindness prevention and treatment, and the important role that HE College has played in Optometry personnel training. He hoped the visit would enhance mutual understanding, and lay a foundation for deeper cooperation and exchange.
