Introduction to the Park
Shenyang Green Valley Biotechnology Industrial Park (The Park) lies in the heartland of Shenyang Qipanshan Development Zone, adjacent to the main gate of the 2006 International Horticultural Exposition grounds. The Park covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers. It is an internationalized institute with a complete set of facilities focusing on research and development in biotechnology, environmental technology, and nano-technology. 1. To establish international technology cooperative base
Marriage with USC, Doheny Eye Institute, Harley Ellis Devereaux, Kyushu University, and Japan Aqumen Biomedicine Company to jointly construct Qipanshan International Technology Cooperation Base. The base is involved in three fields of clean energy technology, nanotechnology and biotech, integrating research, education, clinical trial and industry transformation.
2. To introduce more technical talents
Recruited domestic experts in biology, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and a group of researchers, but introduced international expertise panel to offer the reliable technical support for the project implementation as well. Researchers with Master degree are as high as 80%, doctoral graduate is 10%.
3. To strength basic research cooperation
(1) Worked with Molecular Ophthalmology Laboratory of the University of Florida to introduce advanced carrier technology. Researchers at MOLUF came in person to Green Valley in three consecutive years, 2006, 2007 and 2008 to guide gene research team for experiment. An experiment plan, under the guidance of them, was laid out and it helped the company lay a solid foundation on research of gene therapy. Now the experiment is in smooth progress.
(2) Allied with Beijing Institute for Genomics CAS and Shenyang He Eye Hospital, it’s extremely significant and valuable in clinical resources for the company to successively discover 4 disease families of congenital cataract, lattice dystrophy cornea, aniridia, pigmentary degeneration of the retina. Especially the congenital cataract family we found, analyzed by Beijing Institute for Genomics CAS, was proved high value in academic research and uncommon family. Now we have completed gene sequencing analysis, and such could lay a good foundation for extensively implementing the gene examination project in the future.
(3) Joint R&D with Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica CAS on biopharmaceutical. Now two main pharmaceuticals are under development, and optic nerve protection agents and anti-angiogenic agents after prior animal testing have achieved the positive testing result and experimental data are under further process and analysis.
4. To accelerate technical results conversion
Green Valley is constructing China Eye Industry Base and trying to accelerate self-researched patents industrialization. Projects under industrialization are:

5. To strength cooperation with oversea industry park
To establish the partnership with Japan Kurume Biotech Industry Park and come into agreement on exchange of knowledge, information, technology and talent, Japanese party successively introduced 7 industry parks to come to us and do research. Green Valley has sent representatives to attend biological annual exhibit in Japan in 2007 and 2008, to promote Green Valley and do project research. Recently, two parties are discussing on the establishment of Japan Green Valley joint venture company and plan to do pharmacological test; do pharmacological test talents dispatching, pharmaceutical, health-food development, production, sale and importing & exporting; cosmetic development, production, sale and importing & exporting; feed, mixed feed development, production, sale and importing & exporting; operation of internet paid platform; consulting about pharmaceutical, health-food, cosmetics, feed and mixed feed.
