BMW Dr. Degen Lecturing at HE College

On April 22, Dr. Degen, Vice President of BMW Shenyang Assembly, and visiting professor of He College of Ophthalmology & Visual Science, came to HE College again , and addressed a new lecture, entitled Plan Your Way of Life for HE College students. Executive Vice-President of HE College, Mr. Zhao Guohua, Assistant President Of HE Group, Mrs. Wang Tianhua and Assistant of Dr. Degen were present at the lecture.
Dr. Degen pointed out that each of us should know and understand ourselves before life plan, think about our goal, what strength we have and what kind of job we are interested in. We should choose the proper work area, work style and working environment, by setting up correct self-perception, and knowing what impression and evaluation others have on us. In the future work, it is necessary to set a criteria and find the best way to balance family lives and work, restriction and freedom, and material pursuit and spiritual pursuit.

During the Q&A section, students actively asked questions in Chinese or English, and Dr. Degen answered each question patiently. His humor and wisdom as he was talking aroused bursts of laughter and applause from the lecture hall.
Dr Degen ended his lecture with one sentence for mutual encouragement with the students present, “your future is in your hand, as long as you work hard, your life will be wonderful as you expected.”
At last, Mrs. Wang Tianhua awarded the certificate of appreciation to Dr. Degen, and Mr. Zhao Guohua presented Dr. Degen a portrait of himself, drawn by a HE College student of Art Design major, Dr. Degen was so surprised and moved by the portrait.
