The third session of the eleventh Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held on March 3. CPPCC member and President of He Eye Hospital, Dr. He Wei, submitted ten proposals, all of which were focused on people’s livelihood, including:
1. The proposal to construct China into a storing society;
2. The proposal to draw attention to Chinese aging society: accelerate the development of aging industry;
3. The proposal to enhance internetwork management;
4. The proposal to strengthen teenagers’ mobile internet security;
5. The proposal to draw attention to college students’ integrity education;
6. The proposal to draw attention to Chinese optometry development: set up professional and technical title for optometrist;
7. The proposal to run entrepreneurial curriculum in college;
8. The proposal to improve the eye care service in ethnic minority areas;
9. The proposal to improve the current situation of Chinese blindness prevention and treatment: establish Chinese Eye Industry;
10.The proposal to standardize the development of Chinese Eyeglasses Industry.
