Recently, He Optical joined efforts with Sujiiatun Committee to develop a public welfare activity aiming to offer free glasses to 200 poverty students.
Sun Chanjuan is one of the recipients. She has been accompanied by an old pair of glasses in the past few years. As the pressure of study increases, her sight gets worse and worse. However, she has never told her mother about her situation, because she knows that a new pair of glasses is nothing to others but a large expense for her family. At her three years old, her father died, from then on, Sun Chanjuan and her mother have been depending on each other for living, she doesn’t want to increase any burden on the family. Now she was so happy to wear a new pair of glasses free of charge.
On Jan. 20, Sujiatun Committee officials and He Optical leaders attended the glasses-presenting ceremony, in addition to 50 students, who would accept the new glasses on the activity day. After a short speech, HE staffs started to offer optometry and lens fitting for them. The other 150 students would receive glasses successively after the activity day.
He Optical indicated that they would offer Sun Chanjuan the glasses until she went into college.
