Specialists Screening in the Kindergarten

On April 3, Yunteng Kindergarten received eight ORBIS specialists who would provide free eye screening for more than 300 children. They are generally between 4 and 6 years old, and looked a little bit nervous in the face of these foreign doctors. After the screening of a whole morning, the results showed most of children were healthy in eye. For those who had some small problems in eye, the specialists gave their suggestions in the medical records.


ORBIS specialists and He Eye Hospital, Dalian ophthalmologists carried out vision test and slit lamp examination for the children, which could find out anterior segment diseases, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, strabismus, trichiasis, congenital cataract, glaucoma, entropion, and etc.


ORBIS specialists reminded that parents should care about children’s eye health, especially for the family with the eye diseases history, it is very necessary to regularly have their children’s eye tested.
